The Do Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage that leads devotees to two of the most revered temples in Uttarakhand’s Garhwal region—Kedarnath and Badrinath. Nestled in the heart of the majestic Himalayas, this spiritual journey offers a deep sense of devotion and tranquility, drawing thousands of pilgrims seeking divine blessings.
Situated at an altitude of 3,583 meters in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, Kedarnath Temple is one of India’s most revered shrines. It holds immense significance as one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, a key site in the Panch Kedar pilgrimage, and an essential part of both the Chota Char Dham Yatra and the Do Dham Yatra. Nestled amidst the snow-covered Himalayan peaks along the Mandakini River, this ancient temple attracts lakhs of devotees each year, offering them a divine and spiritually enriching experience.
Located in the Chamoli district on the banks of the Alaknanda River, Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and forms an important part of the Do Dham Yatra. It also belongs to the Bada Char Dham circuit, which includes Rameshwaram, Dwarka, Puri, and Badrinath. This temple remains closed for six months due to extreme winter conditions. Lord Vishnu is venerated here in his Nar-Narayan form, and the temple is considered the holiest shrine of Satyuga. According to mythology, Kali Yuga will come to an end when the mountains of Kedarnath and Badrinath merge. A visit to this sacred temple is believed to bring immense blessings and spiritual fulfillment.
Our Do Dham Yatra 2025 group tour typically begins from Haridwar Railway Station at 5:00 AM.
