Starting from Rishikesh, this 10-day journey takes you to the four divine shrines nestled in the Himalayas – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Each dham offers spiritual peace, natural beauty, and a deep connection with the divine.


Day 1: Rishikesh to Barkot (Approx. 180 km / 7–8 hours)

Your Char Dham Yatra begins with a scenic drive from Rishikesh to Barkot via Mussoorie. Enjoy the hill views and fresh air on the way. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri and back (Drive + 6 km Trek each side)

Early morning, drive to Janki Chatti and begin a 6 km trek to Yamunotri, the origin of River Yamuna. Visit the Yamunotri temple and nearby hot springs. After darshan, trek back and return to Barkot for overnight stay.

Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (Approx. 100 km / 4–5 hours)

Drive through the mountains to Uttarkashi, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. In the evening, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back (Approx. 100 km one way)

Early morning, leave for Gangotri, the sacred source of the River Ganga. After temple darshan and spending some peaceful time by the river, return to Uttarkashi for the night.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (Approx. 220 km / 9–10 hours)

A long drive day through scenic valleys and river banks. Reach Guptkashi by evening and rest for the night.

Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (Drive + 16 km Trek OR Helicopter)

Drive to Sonprayag, then Gaurikund – the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. You can trek or take a helicopter ride (optional). Reach Kedarnath, attend evening aarti, and stay overnight near the temple.

Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (Return)

After morning darshan, trek back to Gaurikund and return to Guptkashi. Evening at leisure and rest.

Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath (Approx. 185 km / 8 hours)

Begin your journey to Badrinath Dham, driving through mountain passes, rivers, and the town of Joshimath. On arrival, take a holy dip in Tapt Kund and visit the Badrinath temple. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 9: Badrinath to Rudraprayag/Srinagar (Approx. 160 km / 7–8 hours)

After morning darshan at Badrinath, begin the return journey. Stop at beautiful confluence points like Vishnuprayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag. Stay overnight in Rudraprayag or Srinagar (Garhwal).

Day 10: Rudraprayag to Rishikesh (Approx. 140 km / 6–7 hours)

The final leg of your Char Dham Yatra. Reach Rishikesh by evening and complete the journey with divine blessings and lifelong memories.
